The First Ever Domino’s Dough Drive Raises $18,630 for Children in Need

On Wednesday, August 21st four Domino’s restaurants in Belleville, Trenton, and Napanee collectively sold 3,726 pizzas, raising a total of $18,630 in support of The Children’s Foundation serving Hastings, Northumberland, and Prince Edward Counties.  Funds raised will support underserved children and youth through programming that provides opportunities to play sports, go to camp, learn new skills, attend post-secondary education, and more.

Seth Nagendran, Director of Development for Domino’s locations in Belleville, Trenton, and Napanee, expressed that yesterday was a phenomenal day. He shared, “Words can't even describe how happy we all are on how successful the Dough Drive was.” Seth was astonished by the overwhelming support we had from so many local businesses and people in our community. He stated, “A strong community doesn’t just happen; it is built by the collective efforts of those who care."

“What an incredible day! Through the busyness of the day, it was clear that the Domino’s team is like a family – and consummate professionals!  Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this day a success including the Domino’s staff and leadership teams, TCF Volunteers, and everyone who purchased a pizza!  We are incredibly grateful for this corporate partnership and are thrilled by the number of kids who will benefit from this generosity. Thank you!” Melanie Cressman, Executive Director, The Children’s Foundation.

The Children’s Foundation provides and funds programs that ensure all children and youth in Hastings, Northumberland, and Prince Edward Counties have access to social and physical opportunities to explore, learn, play, and thrive.
