Over $38,000 was raised on McHappy Day for Children, and Youth in Need.



On Wednesday, May 8th nine McDonald’s restaurants in Belleville, Trenton, Picton, Brighton, Campbellford, and Madoc raised $38,032 for The Children’s Foundation serving Hastings, Northumberland, and Prince Edward Counties.  Funds raised will support underserved children and youth through programming that provides opportunities to play sports, go to camp, learn new skills, attend post-secondary education, and more.

Todd Shea, Owner of McDonald's in Belleville, Picton, and Madoc said, “Yesterday was an outstanding day, and even though it was raining hard outside, it didn't dampen our spirits inside.  Our annual McHappy Day is a great day to bring the community together to support local kids in need with our partnership with The Children's Foundation, as well as Ronald McDonald House Charities.  Thanks to all of our volunteers and VIPs, as well as our staff for making this day a huge success each year.
