On Thursday, June 24th, The Children’s Foundation in partnership with Black Bear Ridge Golf Course presented the 17th annual Play a Round for the Kids Golf Tournament in support of The Children’s Foundation servings Hastings, Northumberland and Prince Edward County raising a total of $48,250!!
Special Events Coordinator, Zoey Read says, “Thank you so much to all of the TCF staff, volunteers, sponsors, and donors to help create such a wonderful day. This has been a continued well supported tournament and with how challenging the last year has been, we consider ourselves so fortunate to be involved in such a generous community.”
Executive Director, Kim Henry commented, “We live in such a great community. TCF has seen first hand the struggles that local families have been going through and with the money raised today, this will help make a difference for so many of them!”

The Children’s Foundation “On the Bay” Kitchen Party
On Saturday, June 12th, The Children’s Foundation coordinated the “On the Bay” Kitchen Party in support of The Children’s Foundation servings Hastings, Northumberland and Prince Edward County raising an outstanding total of $82,000. This amount of funding is going to help so many children attend camp through our Camps of Hope program!!
Executive Director, Kim Henry says, “I am so amazed at the generosity of this community and beyond proud to be a part of it. Thank you so much to all of the attendees, donors, volunteers and supporters who helped make this day a success!”
Special Events Coordinator, Zoey Read commented, “Not only was this event a success with the funds raised, but most importantly, with the number of children we are going to help through our Camps of Hope program. You, our community, have helped the children and youth who need it most and we couldn’t be more thankful!”

The Children’s Foundation would like to thank the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation’s “Kay Stafford Fund” for providing TCF $7,500 to go towards our Playing for Keeps, Camps of Hope and Strive to Thrive programs.
Executive Director, Kim Henry was so happy to be able to virtually attend the cheque presentation and to be able to show the gratitude to this Foundation for helping make TCF programs possible as kids need our help now more than ever.
