On May 29th, 144 golfers and several “non-golfers” joined us at Black Bear Ridge Golf course in Belleville for our 10th Annual Play a Round for the Kids Golf Tournament. The weather was perfect for a day at the links and everyone had lots of fun! We couldn’t have asked for a more enthusiastic group of people.
We are thrilled to announce the event helped us raise over $43,000. Thanks to the generosity of all those who participated, Quinte Children’s Foundation will be able to help over 350 Kids in our local communities participate in the activities they love most through our Playing For Keeps Program. Through the course of the year, children will play, laugh, make new friends, learn new skills and have a great time.
We would like to thank our Golf committee: Taryl Kramp (chair), Beckie Sarles,Tracy Bray, Dagney Benton, Sharlene Weitzman, Mike Williams and Kari Kramp as well as all volunteers for organizing such an amazing evening. As well, we would like to offer our most sincere thanks to Ms. Wendy McFaul, RBC Wealth Management Dominion Securities and all the wonderful sponsors and donors for their contributions.
Together, we are making a difference in the quality of life for vulnerable children in our communities.
We hope you will be able to join us next year for an unforgettable day of golf……Helping One Child At A Time!
