“On Friday July 19th, even the dark skies couldn’t dampen the amazing support of golfers and people who attended Party in the Square and helped raise over $95,000 to helps kids. This was an amazing day, even though the weather-man could have been a bit nicer to us, all our golfers came out and we raised a lot of money. We are ecstastic with the results and this would not be possible without the amazing support of our sponsors”, said Kelly McKinney, RLK Golf Committee Chair.
Mark Kartusch, Executive Director with Highland Shores Children’s Aid thanked all Rotarians and everyone who help to make this event so successful. “The Reach for Success Youth Awards are very important to our youth in care and to see the excitement and pride on the faces of our youth was just wonderful.”
Expressing thanks on behalf of the Quinte Children’s Foundation, Connie Reid, the Foundation’s Executive Director, commented, “I want to thank all Rotarians and their volunteers. This is a huge event to plan and wouldn’t be possible without the commitment of Rotarians and their wonderful volunteers. On behalf of the youth we help, “thank you”!!!”
